KURENAH.COM – To enhance cleanliness and the aesthetic appeal of the environment in the city of Solok, the Solok City Government, through the Department of Environment (DLH) Solok City, has delivered waste containers placed around the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) office in Solok City.
The handover was carried out by the Head of Waste Management and Hazardous Waste B3, Asril, on Friday, January 19, 2024, to a representative of the transport drivers, Adiwardana. The event was also attended by Tommy Heriyanto, Field Supervisor of Street, Drainage, and Sewer Cleanliness Officers.
Tommy Heriyanto, the Field Supervisor of Street, Drainage, and Sewer Cleanliness Officers, explained that the condition of the container near the Kemenag office was highly distressing, with a significant level of damage.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining waste management infrastructure to ensure its quality is preserved. Maintenance is not just a form of support but also a tangible manifestation of concern for environmental cleanliness in Solok City. It is not only about preserving the quality of waste management infrastructure but also a commitment to creating a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment for the people of Solok City.
He then called on the entire community to unite in preserving the beauty of the surrounding environment. Through simple actions, such as not littering, we can collectively create a clean, green, and comfortable environment for all residents.
With the delivery of the repaired container, a positive contribution to the cleanliness of the Solok City environment becomes more apparent. With optimal utilization, it is hoped that the container can provide maximum benefits in efforts to address the presence of waste, ensuring that Solok City always appears clean and well-organized.
